Play Flat Piano game online for free. Flat Piano is an virtual piano simulator application with 8 rainbow colored keys designed for preschool children. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

As soon as the screen loans, 8 keys of different colors will appear on the screen.
The 8 colored key are basic major keys of a scale. They represent whole notes.
Once you tap or click a key, the key’s solfege note name appears (do-re-mi).
For example, when you press the first red key, DO will appear. When you press the second orange key, RE will appear, and so on.
When you stop pressing on a key, the solfege label will disappear.
If you press the keys in succession from right to left or left to right, all the solfege key labels will appear. After sounding the music, they will disappear.
Below are the piano key colors and their corresponding solfege note names:
- 1st – Red, DO
- 2nd – Orange, RE
- 3rd – Yellow, ME
- 4th – Green, FA
- 5th – Blue, SOL
- 6th – Indigo, LA
- 7th – Violet, SI
- 8th – Pink, DO
- Besides the major keys which are whole notes, the black keys are half notes. These are referred to as sharp or flat notes. There are 5 black keys in the 8 major key scale.

    - Make sure to rotate your screen horizontally for better playing experience.
    - A wider screen gives fingers more surface area, which makes keys easier to press.
    - Using your fingers, tap the colored and black keys to play music.
    - Like a real piano, you can press multiple key simultaneously. You can listen to two or more notes sounding in harmony.
