How to Play

Play Baccarat online for free. Baccarat is a card game where people can wager on who they think will get closer to 9 between the banker and a player using hands of 2 or 3 cards each. Players can also bet on a tie. This game can help teach probability, but this site is family friendly so we do NOT use real money chips. Starting the Game

The game automatically loads and puts you in the middle of gameplay.
- It starts you out with $10.
- Select which outcome you want to bet, bet the chips you want to bet, and click on the deal button.

    - Use your mouse left click button to choose which outcome you want to bet, scroll through chip values, click on chips to set your bet, and to have cards dealt.

      - Use your finger to touch the screen.

      - Baccarat Game Rules
        Baccarat is played with 8 decks of 52 cards, which are shuffled together before each round. The goal of each game round is to predict which hand will be the highest among the player or banker, or to predict a tie.
        Dealing cards
        The player and the banker are dealt either 2 or 3 cards.
        Initially 2 cards are dealt.
        If the player or banker is dealt 8 or 9 this combination is considered natural and cards are no longer dealt.
        If neither the player or the banker have a hand value of 8 or 9 the game proceeds with third card rules.
        If a player has a hand value between 0 and 5 they are dealt a third card.
        If a player has a hand value of 6 or 7 they stand.
        If the player stands, the banker draws a third card if the banker’s hand is between 0 and 5.
        If the player draws a third card the value of the card drawn by the player determines if the banker gets a third card.
        if the player draws a 9 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand valued is 3 or less
        if the player draws a 8 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 2 or less
        if the player draws a 7 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 6 or less
        if the player draws a 6 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 6 or less
        if the player draws a 5 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 5 or less
        if the player draws a 4 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 5 or less
        if the player draws a 3 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 4 or less
        if the player draws a 2 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 4 or less
        if the player draws a 1 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 3 or less
        if the player draws a 0 the dealer gets another card if the dealer’s hand value is 3 or less
        Hand Values
        The hand with the value closest to 9 wins.
        Hands of an equal value are a tie.
        The value of the hand is the sum of the value of the cards in it. The number cards from 2 to 9 count as their face value. Kings, Queens, Jacks and Tens count as zero. Aces count as one.
        If the total hand value is 10 or more you subtract 10 from it.
        Gameplay
        Betting lines
        You can choose to bet on the banker, the player, or on a tie.
        One could actually bet different amounts on multiple outcomes in the same hand.
        Betting amounts
        This game starts with a balance of $10.
        Players may bet in any amount using chips valued at 10 cents, 50 cents, $1, $5 or $10 up to a max bid of $10.
        Scroll left or right using the arrows near the chips to change chips or click on a chip value to select it.
        When you have the chip you want to use at the center click on whichever outcome you want to bet on.
        One can bet 80 cents by clicking on the 50 cent chip once and the 10 cent chip 3 times.
        Even if you win dozens or hundreds, the max bid remains set at $10.
        Click the X to the right of the chips on the table to remove them.
        If you run out of chips and try to bet again by clicking on the “New Bet” button the game offers a recharge button which gives another $10 in chips.
        Playing
        After setting your bet click on the deal button on the right side of the screen.
        After the first hand is dealt you can click on rebet to bet the same amount again, or click on new bets to bet a different amount.
        When you rebet you bet the amount of your initial bet again rather than letting the bet and the winning ride to double the bet.
        History
        In the lower left corner of the game it shows the game history for the 4 most recent hands.
        The dealer is on the left and the player is on the right.
        Yellow indicates win & white indicates loss or tie.
        Target Audience
        This game is fun for fans of card games, gambling, or people who want to learn about probability through play.
        This is a gambling game, but does not use real money chips. Outside of the topic of gambling there are no adult themes in this game.
